With its 8 cm brim, this UV bob will protect your face and ears from the sun's rays. For maximum UV protection for your neck and nape, quickly attach the removable sun protection panel using the press studs.

With a tightening system on the inside, our UV protection bobble fits perfectly around your head, while the adjustable and removable chinstrap lets you keep it on your head even when it's windy.

Compact and foldable, it slips easily into your bag or fanny pack, so you can take it with you wherever you go. And because it's so light, you can wear it all day long without any discomfort.

  • Machine wash inside out (30°C maximum). Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Can be ironed (110°C maximum).
What does UPF 50+ mean?

This product is UPF 50+ certified.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.

By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.

A lightweight UV-resistant fabric, perfect for summer

This UPF 50+ certified UV fabric has been designed specifically for the manufacture of hats. It's very light, making it very comfortable to wear, even for a whole day in the middle of summer.
The fabric is also machine washable for added comfort and freshness, and can be ironed to prevent creasing.
