Our mission
At Ker Sun, our mission is to protect the skin from sun damage by preventing the risk of developing UV-related illnesses. We also want to help people with sensitive skin to regain their freedom while enjoying safely outdoor activities.

All our sun protective clothing is UPF50+ certified, regardless of fabric color. They are made from lightweight, breathable fabrics. Note: UPF50+ is the highest level of certification, guaranteeing that over 98% of UV rays are blocked.
Your safety is our priority!
The models we sell, although already certified by an independent laboratory, have had their performance verified using state-of-the-art equipment. This ensures that we deliver optimal UPF50+ sun protection. Only products that pass our internal tests are sold on Ker Sun.
The genesis
Awareness of the dangers of UV rays often stems from a personal experience.
Claudia, our co-founder of Mexican origin, shares her story:
"I suffer from Lupus, an autoimmune disease, whose symptoms can be significantly worsened by sun exposure.
In the past, during summer, I wanted to protect myself effectively without relying too much on sunscreen, which is sticky, harmful to our oceans, and potentially dangerous to our health. I was constantly searching for sun-protective clothing, but I couldn’t find pieces that offered both optimal protection and made me feel beautiful and feminine. All I found were protective garments in a surfer or very sporty style.
Because it reminded me of my illness, and I didn’t want to explain to everyone why I wasn’t dressed appropriately, I chose to stay indoors when the sun was too strong.
Fortunately, during my travels in America and Asia, I discovered breathable, stylish sun protective clothing that I truly loved. I thought it was a shame that such options weren’t available in France. Ker Sun was born from that realization."

We are a French e-commerce site. Our name might suggest that we're based in Brittany, but our offices are actually located in Annecy (France), the "Venice of the Alps" nestled between lakes and mountains. That’s where we respond to your inquiries.
