This UV children's swim shirt is UPF 50+ certified, the highest European UV certification, essential for protecting your child's fragile skin so they can have fun in the sun in complete safety.

With its long sleeves, your child's upper body and arms will be effectively protected from UV rays, both in and out of the water. No need to reapply sun cream on his back and arms after every swim!

Our UV t-shirt for kids has 3 press studs so you can put it on and take it off effortlessly. The fabric is both stretchy and breathable, for optimum comfort and softness for your child's sensitive skin.

With its pretty blue colour and its little octopus with glasses design, your child will have a unique look at the beach or in the pool.

What does UPF 50+ mean?

This product is UPF 50+ certified.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.

By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.
