What does UPF 50+ mean?

This product is UPF 50+ certified.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.

By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.

grosse inflammation au niveau des tibias

Je l'ai porté pour une randonnée en juillet et en l'enlevant le soir, j'ai vu des tâches rouge sang à l'intérieur des tibias .Mon docteur m'a indiqué que j'avais fait une grosses inflammation au niveau des zones de frottement et m'a déconseillé de le porter à nouveau.Je ne l'avais pas lavé avant de le mettre.J'aimerais connaître la liste des produits chimiques anti UV qu'ils mettent sur le tissus.
